Lights, Camera, Cake… I mean action, yes ACTION…that.

This is just a reminder that it’s our first meeting tonight at Blackpool Central Library from 6pm.

It’s a chance for film buffs, cinema goers, film-makers and movie fans to get together and decide what you want to see in Blackpool and when.  We’ll be taking a look at some videos of Secret Cinema for inspiration and thinking about how we can offer something similar here.

So do pop along for tea, biscuits and all things film.  If you would like to come along, do add your name to our Facebook event page.

Aunty is pleased to announce that tickets available for Aunty Social Connected 5 which will be on the 26th October 2011 from 6pm to 8pm at Barista Coffee on Birley Street. We have spaces for 10 surgeons and 20 patients and we’re really looking forward to spending another evening answering your social media questions.

We’ve also taken the decision that instead of the surgery being purely for organisations from Blackpool, we are happy for any voluntary sector organisation from across Lancashire to attend so that as many as possible can take advantage of this free event.

As usual, if our social media skills can’t tempt you, we’ll be providing tea, coffee and probably cake! If you want to attend please sign up on the eventbrite page at http://asconnected5.eventbrite.com and as always you can keep up with the conversation in advance by following #blackpsms on twitter.

Update – Please note that we are not meeting at Central Library, the correct venue is Barista Coffee on Birley Street in Blackpool town centre.
