We’ve been asked to contribute piece of textile work to an art project that will be exhibited in Blackpool in March. We need to create a knitted/crocheted American flag. Can you help us?
Your mission is to make squares for the flag.
Squares need to be:
- Knitted or crocheted (any pattern/stitch)
- Measure 5 inches squared
- Red, white or blue (try and stick to royal/bright blue and bright red, slight colour variations will be fine)
We’ll collect the squares at the next KWA session – 6pm on Mon 6th Feb at Claremont Park Community Centre. If you can help, please let us know how many squares you will make (and what colour) . You can do this by emailing us (infoATauntysocialDOTcoDOTuk), via Twitter ([email protected]_) or via Facebook. If you can’t make it to KWA in Feb to hand them in, just let us know and we can give you a postal address or arrange to get them picked up if you live locally.
