But how can you reach people when you don't have an existing connec tion\, or they're not traditionally engaged in the arts? \n\nIn this sessi on\, cinema worker Duncan Carson will look closely at different ways you c an find audiences\, speak to them so they'll listen and keep them engaged long-term. We'll look at:\n\n What do you need to do to try to gather peo ple together for art events?\n How can you reach people in an increasingl y oversaturated media environment?\n How do people decide what to do with their free time?\n How do you encourage people to consider new experienc es?\n What do you need to do at events to make sure people come back?\n\n This informal session has been designed for people hosting film events/scr eenings\, but will also be useful for anyone producing arts events.
