DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nWelcome to Culture Club\n\nHands on for this session\, we
 'll be playing with our food.\n\nBack in the 70s Helen's Gran used to make
  the most marvellous marzipan sweets for Christmas\, she's dug out the ori
 ginal magazine cutting for this and everything! Many years later Helen wen
 t on one of Ivan Day's historic food courses exploring marchpane\, gingerb
 reads and sweetmeats.\n\nSo this evening will be an informal exploration i
 nto some of these things\, with the chance to make sweets and taste the od
 d sample. There's only so much we'll be able to do at this session but it 
 will definitely involve sugar\, nuts and maybe some quince too..\n\nBring 
 your aprons\, and any recipes for sweet treats you'd like to share for Win
 ter holiday celebrations.\n\nCulture Club aims to create a collaborative c
 ommunity\, for sharing knowledge and experiences around food processing an
 d production. This can be anything from curing and fermenting to foraging 
 and preservation\, there will be something for everyone.\n\nWhen?\n\nTuesd

 Here To Book\nIntroducing the Spice Co-op\n\nHelen founded the Spice co-op
 \, buying high quality\, often organic and sometimes fairly traded spices 
 from Steenbergs - a thoughtful company based in Ripon who provide informat
 ion on where and how their products are sourced.\n\nSome will be bought in
  (relative) bulk so you can stock up on the standards such as Organic Cumi
 n\, Coriander and Fennel seeds\; Sumac and dried Tumeric. In addition\, ea
 ch month we’ll get one or two jars of a more unusual spice to share and 
 experiment with at home - without having to buy a whole jar that - lets fa
 ce it\, - may never get used. Think Grains of paradise\, Cubebs or Long pe
 pper.\n\nYou’ll be able to buy by the gram at just a little over cost pr
 ice.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat's included?\n\n 	All ingredients and equipment to m

 ently no level access. It’s a single flight of 14 steps then you go arou
 nd the corner and there are two small steps. Once you’re upstairs there
 ’s a loo. You shouldn’t need to come downstairs for anything until the
  end of the event.\n\nIf you can’t manage the stairs but really want to
