Wit h foraged Elderflower\, home made bitters\, and much more\, this month's s ession promises to provide some tasty inspiration for making your own crea tive drinks at home.\n\nCulture Club aims to create a collaborative commun ity\, for sharing knowledge and experiences around food processing and pro duction. (Under 16s must be accompanied by an adu lt)\n\nWhat?\n\nThis month\, Helen and Felix will share their adventure in to the world of home made beverages. After trying lots of recipes over the summer\, they have plenty to share with you all.\n\nCome along\, bring yo ur friend or partner\, and have a go at creating a drink to enjoy together . As ever\, if you have starting to explore making your own beverages befo re\, please do bring along any samples\, recipes or tips that you have.\n\ nPlease note there won't be any alcohol served at this session\, but some recipes that you can take home\, may include alcohol as an ingredient.\n\n  \;\n\nIntroducing the Spice Co-op\n\nAt our last session\, Helen laun ched the Spice co-op\, buying high quality\, often organic and sometimes f airly traded spices from Steenbergs - a thoughtful company based in Ripon who provide information on where and how their products are sourced. Some will be bought in (relative) bulk so you can stock up on the standards suc h as Organic Cumin\, Coriander and Fennel seeds\; Sumac and dried Tumeric. In addition\, each month we’ll get one or two jars of a more unusual sp ice to share and experiment with at home - without having to buy a whole j ar that - lets face it\, - may never get used. Think Grains of paradise\, Cubebs or Long pepper.\n\nYou’ll be able to buy by the gram at just a li ttle over cost price. There is current ly no level access. It’s a single flight of 14 steps then you go around the corner and there are two small steps. Once you’re upstairs there’s a loo.
