DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nWelcome to Culture Club\n\nA ‘pot luck’ of unusual sp
 ices.  We'll take a deep dive into peppers - white\, red\, black\, cubebs
 \, grains of paradise\, long pepper and more\, taking a look at the backgr
 ound\, flavours and uses of each. We'll talk about storage\, grinding\, sh
 elf-life and provenance and you'll be able to buy small samples to try at 
 home.\n\nBring your tastebuds and your curiosity\, and please do bring any
  unusual spices you've got at the back of your cupboards (yes even if they
  are out of date!) and we'll throw them in the mix - so to speak.\n\nCultu
 re Club aims to create a collaborative community\, for sharing knowledge a
 nd experiences around food processing and production. This can be anything
  from curing and fermenting to foraging and preservation\, there will be s
 omething for everyone.\n\nWhen?\n\nThursday 6th November\, 6:30-8:30\n\nHo

  accompanied by an adult)\n\nWhat?\n\nThis session will focus on tasting s
 pices and seasonings and learning about their unique flavours and applicat
 ions\nClick Here To Book\nIntroducing the Spice Co-op\n\nHelen founded the
  Spice co-op\, buying high quality\, often organic and sometimes fairly tr
 aded spices from Steenbergs - a thoughtful company based in Ripon who prov
 ide information on where and how their products are sourced.\n\nSome will 
 be bought in (relative) bulk so you can stock up on the standards such as 
 Organic Cumin\, Coriander and Fennel seeds\; Sumac and dried Tumeric. In a
 ddition\, each month we’ll get one or two jars of a more unusual spice t
 o share and experiment with at home - without having to buy a whole jar th
 at - lets face it\, - may never get used. Think Grains of paradise\, Cubeb
 s or Long pepper.\n\nYou’ll be able to buy by the gram at just a little 
 over cost price.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat's included?\n\n 	Tasters of all the spi
 ces\n 	Recipes to take home\n 	Hot/cold drinks and snacks\n\n\n\n\n\n\nACC

  It’s a single flight of 14 steps then you go around the corner and ther
 e are two small steps. Once you’re upstairs there’s a loo. You shouldn
 ’t need to come downstairs for anything until the end of the event.\n\nI
