SUMMARY:Drawing from the sea - seaside cyanotypes
DESCRIPTION:Join artist Lavinia HasLam and create your own sea-inspired cya
 notype.\nIn this mindful session combining art and wellness\, take a walk 
 along the sea shore and engage with the soothing sound of the ocean. Colle
 ct small objects and materials that you feel drawn to\, and engage with th
 eir texture\, pattern\, and how this makes you feel.\n\nBack in the worksh
 op space\, you will receive a practical demonstration on how to make a cya
 notype or sun print. You will then have an opportunity to make your own an
 d develop it in the sunlight.\nAt the end of the session\, we will have a 
 chance to reflect as a group. You will also be able to take away the uniqu
 e images that you created.\n\n 	Drinks and snacks will be provided. You wi
 ll need to bring lunch with you.\n 	This session is suitable for adults an
 d young people over 12yrs. All young people under 16yrs must be accompanie
 d by an adult (see FAQ section for ticket details).\n\nSafety notice\nSadl
 y our beaches are not at their cleanest at the moment. We'll therefore pro
 vide gloves\, sanitiser and disinfectant for handling the objects that you
  collect.\n\n\nImportant access information\nThis activity will include wa
 lking to the beach and back.\n\nThe rest of the session is in the upstairs
  workshop space. We’re in the process of having a lift installed work sh
 ould e complete by late August 2023.\n\nIt’s a single flight of 14 steps
  then you go around the corner and there are two small steps. Once you’r
 e upstairs there’s a loo. You shouldn’t need to come downstairs for an
 ything until the end of the event. If you can’t manage the stairs but re
 ally want to attend\, please let us know using the questions that appear w
 hen you book your ticket and we will try to move the activity downstairs.\
