Each month we will take on a differe nt project\, in a friendly and welcoming environment.\n\nIn our March sess ion Suzanne Pinder will be leading the group. She will teach us how to mak e simple prints with Linocut.\n\nWe will learn\n\n How to transfer an ima ge onto a lino block\n Techniques to carve the image\n To print the imag e with ink\, onto fabric or paper\n To repeat patterns to make textile or a poster\n\nDuring the session we will also look at household objects tha t can be used to print\, so you can carry on experimenting at home.\n\nNo previous experience of Linocut is needed for this session and drawing skil ls are not necessary. She has been involved with Blackpool Tiggers\, a charity that suppor ts families living with Autism\, for twenty years. She has been a printmak er for 9 years\, attending Hot Bed Press in Salford\, specialising in etch ing\, monoprint\, letterpress and bookbinding. Since retiring Suzanne has started studying for an HNC in Fashion\, Textiles and Costume at Blackpool and the Fylde College.
