The things we ma ke with our hands are conduits of truth\, love and joy.\n\nCome and try yo ur hand at throwing pottery on a wheel in these fun\, hands-on sessions at Aunty Social. No previous experience is necessary as friendly instruction will be provided. Mike from Studio Dot will be here showing you how to ma ke cups\, plates\, bowls or whatever you feel like making. He’ll also fi re and glaze your work in whatever colour and finish you like.\n\nUp to 3 people can attend each session\, so bring your mates or a date for somethi ng fun and a bit different!\n\nEvery time you eat lunch or have a brew you ’ll be reminded of how creative\, powerful and capable you are.\n\n  \;\n\nWhat is it?\n\nYou will be given a ball of clay and guided to make a n item of your choosing\, using a pottery wheel. You will then be given mo re clay to make further items by yourself. Help will be on hand if you wou ld like guidance with your second throw as well.\n\nYour items will be tak en away after the session for glazing and firing\, and you will then be ab le to collect them from Aunty Social.\n\n \;\n\nWhat's included?\n\nAl l equipment and materials will be provided\, along with full 1-2-1 instruc tion.\n\nPlease wear appropriate clothing as it can get a little messy.\n\ n \;\n\nHow much is it?\n\n£60 per session\, including glazing and fi ring of your items.\n\nUp to 3 people can attend each session\, please let us know at the time of booking.\n\nAlso please be aware that due to time constraints\, if more than one person attends\, there will be less time on the pottery wheel per person and as such\, fewer items would be made per person.\n\nThere is an option to hand build items too\, whilst your compan ion is using the wheel.
