Blackpool Community Darkroom

Blackpool Community Darkroom

Now open!

We’ve created a community darkroom space for people to share, learn and refine their photography skills.

We offer workshops, professional development activities and residencies, along with plenty of opportunities to play and explore.

We look forward to welcoming folks of all abilities into the space to get creative with traditional (and not so traditional) photography.

Get Involved

If you have a passion for photography that you’d like to share with others we’d love to hear from you and collab on running activities. Similarly, if you’d like to volunteer in the darkroom, please email the darkroom collective or head over to our contact page and get in touch.

Equipment & Supplies

We’re keen to make use of second hand kit, so do you have any photography equipment gathering dust that you no longer use? If so we can make a really good home for it!

Cameras, accessories, dark room equipment, anything you have to offer will be gratefully received and will be used in creative workshops and by local people who want to develop (no pun intended) their photography skills. If you have anything you’d like to donate, please drop us a message.

Blackpool Community Darkroom is supported by Historic England (Know Your Neighbourhood Fund) and sponsored by Zone Imaging.
