Aunty Social’s Knittaz With Attitude meet on the first Monday of the month at The Upside Down,28 Edward Street, Blackpool, FY1 1BA.
Everyone is invited and you are welcome to bring your own work or join in with the latest yarnbombing project… anything goes!
All ages an abilities are welcome and bundles of wool, knitting needles and crochet hooks are available.
For the bargain price of £3.50, you’ll get a light vegan meal and a brew, so book your spot and we’ll see you there!
From time to time, we’ll have special themed sessions e.g. guided macramé workshops, working on charity or street art projects. We also have visits from a variety of textile artists who love to share their work and top notch skills.

We made small textile/craft works of art that were strategically placed in public spaces to highlight the harassment and threats of violence that women face everyday.
