Aunty is always on the look out for volunteers to join our team.
There are loads of ways you can get involved whether it’s helping to run art workshops, covering events on social media or making cinematic magic happen at our film screenings – there really is something for everyone.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help us move into our amazing new venue.
All you need to do get signed up is complete our short volunteer registration form. Once you’ve done that, one of the Aunty folks will get back to you to have a chat about what you would like to do and get you started.
If you are interested in helping in the shop or volunteering at the film festival or reporting for Blackpool Social Club, take a look at the sections below.
Shop Volunteers + -
Seeking volunteers for our shop –bringing products from local artists and makers to the high street.
Yes, we have a shop! We sell items made by local designers, artists and makers from our base at 28 Topping St. Commission from sales help to pay for the upkeep of the shop and helps to subsidise other low cost arts activities and projects such as young people’s art workshops and film screenings.
We have plenty of volunteering opportunities available as we want to increase our opening hours.
You’ll receive appropriate training and we’re pleased to offer our volunteers a financial contribution to lunch and transport, so there’s no need to be out of pocket when you’re helping us out!
Blackpool Film Festival + -
Join our amazing group of film fans and lend a hand at Blackpool Film Festival (formerly Blackpool Film Festival). We have a number of roles available: from technical jobs to focus groups, admin to PR and marketing, why not get involved?
After you submit the form, you’ll receive a link to the Volunteers Facebook group where we will keep you updated.
