Blackpool Social Club team workshop: News writing
Are you tired of seeing clickbait or biased news stories? This is your opportunity to shape the news agenda for Blackpool. We’ll discuss the kind of news stories we want to be telling and learn how to tell them in a fair and accurate way.
You’ll find out how to identify stories and sources as well as the fundamental news writing techniques. We’ll be making a start on live stories in the session and helping each other navigate our way to the truth.
This session is hosted by journalist and Blackpool Social Club editor Antonia Charlesworth Stack. During the session you’ll have chance to catch up with other Blackpool Social Club contributors and take part in an editorial meeting – setting the agenda for what we’re going to cover over the next month on BSC.
