We believe we have enough to offer without the need to bribe you with promotions and sales. Actually, it wouldn't be fair on our makers to even ask them to sacrifice their profits to allow us to do so.

But we still have an offer for you, and not just for this Friday, this week or this month...
📢 We promise that every penny spent at Aunty Social will go back to your local creative communities and support artists, makers, crafters and designers in keeping Blackpool arty!

The money you spend on our fabulous, locally made products, and our brilliant programme of creative workshops will:

✨ Go directly to our local makers and creatives.

✨ Support our volunteers, who make sure our spaces are welcoming and fun.

✨ Maintain our spaces to host creative workshops for our local communities.

Aunty Social is a volunteer-run, non-profit, community arts organisation dedicated to bringing people together through positive arty activities in our safe, supportive, gentle space all year round.

It’s ‘thyme’ (see what we did there?!) to replant the planters on Topping St. But as we all know, looks aren’t everything! We’re considering plants that not only look nice, but:

- Are hardy enough to deal with winter by the sea.
- Smell pleasant.
- Are edible, think herbs or even winter veg.
- Are found naturally on our coast.
- Are easy to maintain.

🌿Can you think of any plants that would work well on Topping St?

P.S. Bonus points for including a pun - it’s a big dill… *gets coat*.

•Exposing a negative and developing a print
•Lumen Print process
•Pin Hole Camera

Have a chat about forthcoming workshops and how you can begin to use the Blackpool Community Darkroom.
Enjoy a brew and a biscuit with the darkroom practitioners: Henry Iddon, Helen Kay, Nicola Dixon, Donna Hannigan, and Claire Griffiths.
Important access info:

Please note that the darkroom is upstairs. It’s a single flight of 14 steps then you go around the corner and there are two small steps. Once you’re upstairs there’s a loo. You shouldn’t need to come downstairs for anything until the end of the event.
