Kilgrimol Crafts: Heritage craft workshops for ages 8-11yrs, Foraging for Crafters
Join our resident Heritage Crafts expert for this selection of fun and engaging workshops, for 8-11 year olds.
Come and join Heather as she brings to life crafts from the Northwest’s Heritage. Demonstrating the slowly vanishing skills that went into producing our clothing using natural materials, in these sessions, tailored to young people.
Please note, parent/carer supervision is required at all times at these sessions.
1. Foraging for Crafters: Finding craft materials in nature
Sat 10 August 1pm – 3pm
Hopefully good weather we shall go on an outdoor walk and gather inspiration and materials for the Heritage Crafting journey in the week ahead. Meeting at 1pm until 3pm at a location in Blackpool (Central Blackpool location tbc 2 weeks before event)
Please dress appropriately for outdoor walk in countryside, in unpredictable summer weather.
