Led by local living history specialist Heather Brewster, this group explores and learn heritage craft skills from a variety of historical periods, many of which are on the Heritage Crafts’ Red List of Endangered Crafts.
Kilgrimol is all about increasing confidence by learning specialist skills and connecting with other people through a shared interest in Heritage.
In the spirit of The Red List of Endangered Crafts, we shine a light on some of the heritage craft practices that are in danger of vanishing in the North West. By introducing or welcoming back an old friend Heather hopes to inspire the community to think about these crafts and how much they mean for creativity and wellbeing.
Kilgrimol often welcomes guest heritage craft expert facilitators, who help to bring to life traditional crafts from the North West; demonstrating the slowly vanishing skills that went into producing our clothing using natural materials.
