Part of the Empower strand of our International Women’s Month celebrations, join Reclaim Blackpool for a relaxed and empowering craft session for women at Aunty Social.

Bring your own projects or take part in ours. Reclaim activists will be leading workshops – or just sit back with a brew and chat to like minded women and marginalised genders.

✏️ Empower Her | Friendship Portraits The talented A.L.M.O.R.A will be hosting a sketching workshop, inviting you to join up with a female friend or loved one and sketch each other – a celebration of connection and self-appreciation. Discover how the women you love see you.

🪡Stitch Her Story | Patchwork Quilt Project Reclaim activist and seamstress Lydia invites you to design your own patch for a collective feminist patchwork quilt. Each patch will represent personal stories, struggles and triumphs, creating a vibrant tapestry of empowerment and solidarity. Join us in weaving a shared narrative of strength and sisterhood through art.

🧶We’re Sew Done We’ll be displaying work from We’re Sew Done – textile art responses to the stories of sexual harassment shared on Reclaim Blackpool Map.
