My role is looking after the Aunty Social shop, so for 3 days a week (Thurs, Fri, Sat) you’ll find me there selling the work of our many, many artists and makers, and welcoming customers and workshop attendees.

I really love being this first port of call for many people who visit for the first time and are amazed that we exist, sometimes I’m accompanied by Betty the dog who is very good at customer service.

I also run various workshops with Aunty, and I’m part of the new special interest food and ingredients group – Culture Club which runs on the First Tuesday of every month and explores the art of fermenting, drying, curing, smoking and many other fascinating food processes. 

When I’m not at Aunty, I’m a contemporary jeweller (think big, bold and bonkers), working in silver and other materials. My work is in the shop and i’m always happy to tell you what I’m working on at the moment, this year (2025).  I’m one of the Artists in Residence at the Blackpool & Fylde College of art producing a collection that celebrates the decorative arts of Blackpool.

Finally, if that weren’t enough, and if I do say so myself, I also make amazing decorative pies (@thepiepriestess).
