Josh ‘Teddy’ Ford

A.K.A The Bearded Sewist, is a plush artist from Blackpool.

Having originally trained as a Graphic designer, Teddy has been able to skilfully transfer their understanding of space, colour and placement into soft sculpture.

Their love for fun, playful, colourful characters from pop culture icons such as Pokémon and My Little Pony inspires their work with textiles and embroidery to create replica and original design pieces.

Teddy runs our knitting and teddy-making workshops at Aunty Social, as well as leader of Queer Craft Club.  Bringing accessible crafting and a safe calming space to socialise to the queer community.
