Blackpool Creative Writing Group
Blackpool Creative Writing Group has been set up for creative kindred spirits looking to develop their writing skills, gain ideas for new or current projects, or even to hone your creativity and expand your writing passions; simply put – we aim to inspire inspiration.
Whether you are new to writing or a literary connoisseur, young or matured, everyone is welcome.
The group is completely free to all members and all you’ll need to bring with you is a notebook and pen or device to write on.
Please note that young children should be accompanied by an adult. We also recommend children from the age of 10 and upwards joining the group, primarily due to the potential difficulty of the creative tasks given.

- Tram & Train to Blackpool North Station
- Bus: No 6 or 18 to Topping St., No 3, 3a, 5c, 6, 18 to Church St (Stanley Buildings), No 5, 5a, 5b, 6, 7a, 14 to Talbot Rd
- Driving: The closest pay and display car parks are on East Topping St and Talbot Road multi storey. There is also parking at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket, please make sure that you check the terms before you use the car park.
