Anthony Briscoe returns to the Blackpool Comedy Festival with this new piece developed during a recent Funny Bones Residency with Showtown.

About Anthony
Anthony is a multidisciplinary artist and performance poet. He likes to mix the serious and the silly to discuss meaningful issues through an absurdist lens, using his background in theatrics (BA HONS in contemporary theatre – Lancaster university) to add an energetic, engaging and entertaining performance to all his material. Anthony has featured on BBC Upload, BBC Radio Manchester, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Comedy and has previously toured his one man show ‘Talentless Millennial Poet’ and in 2022 as part of Blackpool Comedy Festival.

Important physical access info: We’re in the process of having a lift installed. Work should be completed by autumn 2025. The sessions will take place in the upstairs workshop space. Spaces are limited so please book your spot early to avoid disappointment.

- Tram & Train to Blackpool North Station
- Bus: No 6 or 18 to Topping St., No 3, 3a, 5c, 6, 18 to Church St (Stanley Buildings), No 5, 5a, 5b, 6, 7a, 14 to Talbot Rd.
- Driving: The closest pay and display car parks are on East Topping St and Talbot Road multi storey. There is also parking at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket, please make sure that you check the terms before you use the car park.
