April session – guest artist Heather

Join our resident Viking Heather for a relaxed and friendly session to get started with the basics of the ancient textile craft of nalbinding.

In this beginners workshop, Heather will talk you though the basics of this versatile and addictive craft. They will guide you through the beginners techniques and share plenty of top tips to get you started on your nalbinding journey.

Used to make items like socks, hats, and mittens, this technique uses a single needle and short lengths of yarn to create a fabric of interlocking loops.

All equipment and materials are provided.

You can join in with the artist-led activity or bring your own crafty projects to work on.

Beginners warmly welcomed.
