Young Queer Craft Club – Casual Clay with Odies Pottery
Express Yourself at Young Queer Craft Club
Come join us in person for a fun and creative session where you can express yourself creating things with clay
What we’re doing
This informal, friendly hand-building workshop is all about getting creative, having a good time and experimenting with clay.
What will I do?
Handbuilding techniques allow you to use your hands to create forms with clay. You’ll be able to learn or improve your hand-building techniques, like pinching, slab rolling/building and coiling. We will show you these techniques and guide you through the whole process. You’ll be able to to make your own bowls, plates, vases, decorations and much more.
You can also leave your clay piece with us for drying and firing in the kiln. This can take up to 3 weeks. Then you can collect your piece and take it home.
We’ll supply
- All materials and tuition
- Hot/cold drinks and tasty snacks
- Pronoun badges
- Cost – free
