Pinhole Social: Slow Photography with Analogue & Digital Cameras
Come and explore photography at its simplest. Join us for a relaxed, hands-on pinhole photography social where we’ll experiment with both analogue and digital pinhole cameras, share techniques, and make images using light, time, and tiny apertures.
Whether you’re completely new to pinhole photography or already hooked on long exposures and handmade cameras, this session is open to all experience levels. Bring your own camera if you have one, or simply come along to learn, chat, and create.
During the event, we’ll also make simple solargraphy pinhole cameras from recycled cans for you to take home. These DIY cameras can be left outside for weeks or months to record the movement of the sun across the sky, creating striking long-exposure images that capture the passing of the seasons.
Expect experimentation, conversation, and a slower way of seeing.
