Changemakers Forum – Radical Strategies for Social Movement Organising

Join The Ella Baker School of Organising and Aunty Social for an evening of discussion and an introduction to Changemakers, Radical Strategies for Social Justice.
Aunty Social is pleased to welcome authors Jane Holgate and John Page as well as organisers from across different social justice movements to explore the key themes of the new book: Changemakers, Radical Strategies for Social Justice. They will explore how these themes relate to our own knowledge and experiences of organising and how we become more effective changemakers
Crafted for those who dare to challenge the status quo, Changemakers is a radical guide for activists.
Drawing from frontline experiences in trade unions, environmentalism, animal rights, and social justice movements, the book explores essential themes from leadership to the art of negotiation. It asks crucial questions about organising and social movements in the 21st century.
Written by two experts in activist education and community organising, this is a refreshing take on movement building, empowering changemakers of today to forge new paths towards a more just world.
