Job Vacancy: Blackpool Social Club Deputy Editor

Aunty Social is recruiting an enthusiastic Deputy Editor to join the Blackpool Social Club team.

We’re offering a role that will allow you to use your own initiative, explore Blackpool’s cultural scene and promote local creativity in a fast-paced, fun environment. 

The Deputy Editor is responsible for getting the work of Blackpool Social Club and Creative Blackpool out into the community. Content creation is an essential part of the role, along with supporting the Editor and Contributors to provide high quality, engaging news, stories and events which raise Blackpool’s cultural profile.  

You’ll interact with a variety of people, visiting their events, helping to develop news stories and supporting our volunteer contributors, so it’s important that you are personable and not afraid to strike up a conversation or ask questions.
