Check out Aunty’s connections!
On Wednesday night Aunty held the third in the series of Aunty Social Connected (or Blackpool Social Media Surgery). We had about 10 representatives from the voluntary sector in Blackpool come along and even though we were short on surgeons (thanks to @CazFisher74, @StephenMullen and Blu – without you we’d have been stuck) we had some lively conversation about both Facebook and Twitter.
You can already register for September’s Connected event which will be happening on Wednesday the 28th of September 2011 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the (soon to open) Blackpool Central Library! To sign up for your place visit http://asconnected4.eventbrite.com. As always you can keep up with the discussion on twitter with hashtag #blackpsms!
We’re also still hard at work organising So! VolTech – a conference on Social Media & Technology for the Voluntary Sector – which will be taking place on the 19th November 2011. Tickets aren’t available yet but you can keep up with the latest developments at the blog or by following @SoVolTech on twitter!
