Join Blackpool Community Darkroom Collective for a friendly, informal induction session where you’ll be reintroduced to a variety of darkroom techniques to help you on your photography journey.

• Practitioners will be on hand to assist.
• You can bring your own photographic paper, or buy paper to use on the day – photographic paper (Ilford 7×5 sheets) will be 70p per sheet and you can buy on the day with cash or card.
• All other equipment and supplies are included.
  This induction session is for individuals who have used a photographic darkroom to develop and film or make a print.
• Booking is essential.
• Suitable for age 16yrs+

This is a pay what you feel activity – suggested fee £5.

Important info: Please note that this session is upstairs. We’re inthe process of installing a lift, which should be ready by late February 2024.The darkroom is up a single flight of 14 steps then you go around the corner and there are two small steps. Once you’re upstairs there’s a loo. You shouldn’t need to come downstairs for anything until the end of the activity.

• Bus: No 3,4 or 6 bus to Topping St. No 2, 2C, 3, 7, 7, 11, 14, 17, 18 or 20 to Church St (Stanley Buildings)
• Driving: The closest pay and display car parks are on East Topping St and Talbot Road multi storey. There is also parking at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket, please make sure that you check the terms before you use the car park. Free parking is available on most streets around the venue from 6pm, please make sure to check signage before leaving your car.
