Blackpool Social Club team workshop: Interview techniques and profile writing
Whether it’s a celebrity or a community champion, everyone has a story and in this session you’ll learn how to tell it.
We’ll identify interviewees, discuss interview techniques and shape questions for them before learning how to translate them into well-crafted stories that are engaging for readers. You’ll learn how to find the hook and write an arresting introduction to grab your readers and how your story should unfold from there.
This session is hosted by journalist and Blackpool Social Club editor Antonia Charlesworth Stack. During the session you’ll have chance to catch up with other Blackpool Social Club contributors and take part in an editorial meeting – setting the agenda for what we’re going to cover over the next month on BSC.
