Join us at Aunty Social for an unforgettable evening celebrating the best of LGBTQIA+ film from the Iris Prize.
This programme is a collection of short films that explores looking for love, finding love, desire, and human connections in various forms.
Whether you’re a seasoned film lover or just discovering its magic, this event is perfect for everyone who is interested in new short films.

This event includes
- An introduction from Iris Prize festival’s own Grant Vidgen.
- We’re thrilled to be joined by the Producer of “Malwa Khushan” Neeraj Churi for a Q&A session
- Admission includes tea, coffee, soft drinks.
- Suitable for people aged 15years and over.

Synopsis: An experimental film where a group of mice (voiced by members of the UK polyamorous community whose identities are masked using puppetry) discuss their experiences of polyamory. Diomysus asks the question – are we (the audience) more open to taboo ideas if unconscious bias is eliminated?

Important info: Please note that this session is upstairs. We’re inthe process of installing a lift, which should be ready by late February 2024.The darkroom is up a single flight of 14 steps then you go around the corner and there are two small steps. Once you’re upstairs there’s a loo. You shouldn’t need to come downstairs for anything until the end of the activity.

- Tram to North Pier
- Bus: No 3,4 or 6 bus to Topping St. No 2, 2C, 3, 7, 7, 11, 14, 17, 18 or 20 to Church St (Stanley Buildings)
- Driving: The closest pay and display car parks are on East Topping St and Talbot Road multi storey. There is also parking at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket, please make sure that you check the terms before you use the car park. Free parking is available on most streets around the venue from 6pm, please make sure to check signage before leaving your car.
