join local Living History enthusiast Heather as she brings to life crafts from the Northwest’s Heritage. Demonstrating the slowly vanishing skills that went into producing our clothing using natural materials.

This month’s session focuses on Natural Dyes
Status: Currently Viable

We know that fabrics, leather and woods can be dyed with natural dyes, but you would be surprised at what can be obtained from the world around you!

Let Heather guide you into this fascinating world of colour using hand dyeing techniques taking inspiration and materials from the natural environment.

Discover something that can revitalise your wardrobe, or be used for your next textile creations.

Please wear something appropriate for this colourful class as you will be getting hands on with your fabrics.
