Come and join us to hand paint your very own terracotta pot! Unleash your creativity and paint a pot perfect for your garden, windowsill or table. Local artist Iz Durose will guide you through the painting basics so that you can paint your own pottery masterpiece.

Iz will encourage you to get messy, creative and daring in your design. Whether you want to do your own thing or want step-by-step help, these sessions will allow you to have fun and explore your creativity. Combine your love of nature and your love of art in one therapeutic painting session.

Iz Durose is a local artist and owner of Pot Bound in St. Annes. She runs painting workshops in Pot Bound and at other events, and is passionate about bringing creativity and nature together, to help people find their inner artist and connect with their environment. Pot Bound is an LGBT+ safe space and Iz is a passionate activist – working with Youth Pride, Stonewall and other charities.

All materials will be provided and you will walk away with your own decorated pot – sprayed to ensure they are waterproof and weatherproof.

  • No painting experience is necessary.
  • This workshop is suitable for everyone – from elderly people to tiny tots.
  • Light refreshments will be provided.
